SEN Behaviour Mentor position at a Primary SEMH Specialist School in Preston. The role offers up to £600 per week, full‑time, with immediate or September start.
Responsibilities
Work with pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing 1:1 and small‑group support to help them access learning and develop positive behaviours. Play a key role in managing challenging behaviour, using consistent, structured strategies to support emotional regulation and de‑escalate situations effectively. Build strong, trusting relationships, acting as a positive and reliable role model for pupils who require stability and encouragement. Support children with SEMH, ADHD, Autism, and trauma‑related behaviours, helping them overcome barriers to learning and build confidence.
Qualifications
* Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, care, coaching)
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Resilient, patient, and confident
* Ability to build positive, trusting relationships
* Passion for supporting vulnerable pupils
