Offer description

A place to create moments that matter

Location: East, Hybrid with travel around your region and to other Accent offices.

Salary: £55,491 per annum

Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am-5pm with on call rota.

Thousands of families across the country rely on us for a safe, affordable home. And as the housing crisis deepens, the work we do has never been more important.

It's this belief - that everyone deserves a place to call home - that drives everything we do. Together, we find new ways to understand and champion our customers, support them and drive positive change.

For a career that means more and makes a meaningful impact on society, this is the place to be.

About The Role

As Regional Housing Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day‑to‑day operational performance of housing services in your region, ensuring that customers across general needs, leasehold, and homeownership receive responsive and high‑quality support.

While the overall strategy is set by the Director and Assistant Director team, your role is essential in turning those strategic aims into consistent, reliable services that make a real difference to customers.

Your leadership will ensure that our teams stay focused on what matters most: putting the customer first.

Championing a customer‑centric approach

A key focus of this role is strengthening our shift from traditional tenancy management to a true customer‑centred approach.

Regardless of tenure, every customer should experience the same level of respect, clarity, and care – and you'll help make that happen.

Through your leadership, your teams will stay focused on delivering solutions, supporting customers early, and making every interaction count.

Working together to deliver one Accent service

You'll work closely with other Regional Housing Managers and Specialist Housing teams, maintaining strong communication and shared standards so that customers experience one consistent Accent service, wherever they live.

This connection with your peers is vital to driving operational excellence across all regions - ensuring practice is joined‑up, expectations are clear, and we continuously learn from each other.

Building trusted local relationships

As the main operational contact for local authorities and key partners in the East, you'll be a visible presence in the community, representing Accent professionally and confidently.

You'll also play an active role in multi‑agency forums, community networks, and relationships with charities and support organisations, helping us stay responsive to local needs.

What Success Looks Like

Consistent, high‑quality customer experience across all tenures
Strong operational performance with clear, measurable outcomes
Effective partnership working across regions and specialist teams
Positive, proactive relationships with local authorities and community partners
A supportive, empowered team with a strong sense of accountability

Why this role matters

If you're passionate about leading people, improving services, and making sure every customer receives the best possible experience, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to drive real, meaningful impact.
