Customer Services Advisor (Bank)

Brighton Hospital | Sales and Business Development | Bank Contract - Ad hoc

£12.58 per hour

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Customer Services Advisor you will have proven experience in administration within a complex, fast-paced environment, alongside strong call-handling skills and excellent IT proficiency. Be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities and maintain a patient-focused approach at all times. You will have the ability to provide a professional, courteous, sensitive, and empathetic manner, combined with enthusiasm, high motivation, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.


As a Customer Services Advisor, you will:

1. Liaise directly with customers, answering all enquiries.

2. Contribute to and manage local business development, marketing and communication initiatives to promote the services of the hospital throughout the local community.

3. To handle customer enquiries (both telephone and internet), supplying potential customers with information about the services offered at the hospital

4. To support the Medical Secretaries and Hospital Bookings Teams to ensure that customer requirements/queries are effectively dealt with.

5. To coordinate customer journeys, ensuring that customers have a good understanding of the defined customer journey expectations including

6. Identifying all hospital areas which have customer touch points to ensure shared knowledge and understanding

7. Providing information required to enable other areas to respond to all customer enquiries to the defined quality and timeline standards

8. Collating information which effect or influence the customer experience

9. To introduce new processes to improve customer advise and service, as required

10. To support the definition, development, communication and implementation of business development and marketing plans and activities.

11. To provide advice and guidance to other team members and the wider hospital

12. To develop constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

13. To effectively and proactively develop constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

14. To promote the Nuffield Health brand consistently across all stakeholders, supporting the implementation of national brand values and guidelines.


As a Customer Services Advisor, you will have:

15. Proven experience in a customer service, sales or marketing role

16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

17. Excellent interpersonal skills and a good level of IT literacy

18. Good organizational skills

At Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital, we work with leading medical Consultants to provide first-class treatments and high standards of care for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of medical and surgical conditions using the latest facilities and technology. We take pride in delivering high standards of patient care to both private patients and the NHS. Our facilities include 44 purpose built en-suite rooms, three operating theatres and an endoscopy theatre. Other facilities include physiotherapy, health screening, diagnostics and a dental suite. We are located in Woodingdean, on the east side of Brighton with easy access by rail and road, including free parking.
