A leading UK organisation is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Case Manager to join a high-performing team in a complex, high-profile environment.
The Role
You will act as an independent expert managing sensitive ER casework, influencing reputational risk, cost, and legal exposure. Responsibilities include:
* Leading investigations, disciplinary appeals, whistleblowing, and executive complaints.
* Representing the organisation in Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal proceedings, with settlement authority.
* Engaging with senior stakeholders including HR, Legal, unions, and leadership.
* Identifying trends and supporting cultural and behavioural improvements.
* Enhancing line manager capabilities through feedback and shared learning.
* Working autonomously within a collaborative national team.
* Supporting project work, change consultations, and organisational design.
The Individual
The ideal candidate will have:
* Deep knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Proven experience managing sensitive ER matters.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Excellent analysis, judgment, and decision-making skills.
* Preferably CIPD Level 5 or equivalent legal/employment law qualification.
