The role
is heavily hardware-focused and involves supporting PCs, laptops, thin clients, printers, and mobile devices.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Performing hardware upgrades and repairs on PCs and laptops
2. Deploying and configuring new IT equipment
3. Managing and resolving IT helpdesk tickets
4. Supporting users with desktop and endpoint issues
5. Assisting with system maintenance and patching
6. Setting up user accounts and supporting Active Directory tasks
7. Visiting other company sites when required
8. Supporting wider IT projects and infrastructure activities
What We’re Looking For
9. Good hands-on hardware experience, including upgrading and replacing computer components
10. Ideally at least 1 year of experience in a similar IT support role, although keen beginners will also be considered
11. Enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to learn
12. Strong communication and teamwork skills
13. Comfortable working in a physically demanding role involving moving and setting up equipment
14. Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
Package & Benefits
15. Starting salary of £30,784
16. 24 days annual leave rising to 28 days after 5 years’ service
17. Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (1-hour lunch break)
18. Full-time onsite role based in Euston, London
19. Occasional travel to other company sites
