Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of care. This role requires effective communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
* Monitor and report on clients' health and wellbeing, ensuring any changes are communicated effectively to the healthcare team.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere.
* Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required by the organisation.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Skills
* Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* Driving license and access to a car is essential for travel between client locations.
* Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous.

Pay: £14.50-£15.00 per hour
