Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Planner/Estimator to join our friendly team based in Sevenoaks. Salary - £30,000 plus bonus Type – Permanent, Full Time Working Pattern – Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm Do you have: Excellent organisation skills? The ability to work to deadlines? We are looking for a friendly, well organised individual that has a positive and enthusiastic approach to challenges and problems to be able to manage the work and meet varying deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to expertly and efficiently quantify, plan and provide flooring quotations on schedule from both our own measurements and customer drawings, however full training will be supplied for the ideal applicant. Other key areas of responsibilities include: Visiting sites to take accurate flooring measurements. Using measurements and drawings to produce well-presented plans, pricings, and quotations on time for new flooring. Having a comprehensive knowledge of flooring products and services. Providing excellent service both internally and externally. Working on tenders for potential customers. Ensuring that best value is obtained in all areas, making savings wherever possible. Utilising role specific computer programmes and systems to complete task. Answering phone calls and the participating in other office administration duties. Key Requirements: A conscientious approach with exceptional attention to detail. Good arithmetic skills. Ability and willingness to learn new computer-based skills. Willing to work towards a CSCS card. (Company funded) A DBS check is a requirement upon a successful application. (Company funded) A full and current UK driving licence so that site visits can be carried out.
