About the role
As part of our £3.6 billion investment programme from 2025 to 2030, we are seeking Project Managers to join our Capital Delivery team. You will work to enhance the resilience of Water and Wastewater services while protecting the environment.
Reporting to a Programme Manager, you will lead projects from conception to handover, managing project plans within regulatory timescales and maximizing business benefits.
You will promote innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring delivery efficiency and customer value. Working with the Programme Management Office, you will adhere to investment procedures, project governance, risk management, and change control.
You will ensure excellent customer experience, stakeholder communication, and project alignment with business outcomes. Collaboration with procurement, operational teams, engineering, and compliance with CDM regulations are essential.
Safety is paramount; you will ensure activities meet quality standards and legislative requirements, prioritizing team safety.
About you
Ideal candidates will have experience in Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, preferably in construction. Knowledge of contract management, procurement, project governance, and sustainable outcomes is required.
A relevant project management qualification or progression towards one is preferred. Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement are essential. Knowledge of commercial assurance, engineering contracts, and CDM regulations is also important.
