The Role
Exceptional opportunity to join our expanding and unrivalled Belfast Real Estate team.
The role of a Paralegal in A&L Goodbody provides an opportunity for involvement in multi-jurisdictional matters/ projects working with an international client base. Our Paralegals provide essential administration support to Partners/Fee Earners working as part of a wider unrivalled Real Estate team to provide seamless delivery to our clients and to contribute to the success of the firm.
As a Paralegal, your role will involve the following:
• Providing efficient administrative support service to Fee Earners;
• Fast accurate document production;
• Extensive diary management, using Microsoft Outlook;
• Assisting with printing, scheduling title deeds, correspondence, billing and administration tasks;
• Updating our document management system and providing accurate and timely assistance with soft and
• hard copy filing;
• Assisting with registrations, Registry of Deeds and Land Registry together with other ad-hoc administrative requirements;
• Assisting with HMRC Stamp Duty Land Tax returns;
• General file management; and
• Proactive support across all other departments on a needs basis.

Essential
• Current working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Proactive, professional can do attitude with exceptional attention to detail and pride in work.
Desirable
• Experience of using the Land Registry e-registrations system (Landweb).
• Experience of using digital dictation systems such as Bighand.
• Experience of using time recording and invoicing systems such as Expert.
• Experience of matter inception and working with document management systems such as Filesite.
