Overview
We are looking for a bright enthusiastic person to run our UK showroom and experience centre. Papergraphics are a leading supplier of wide format print media and associated printing and finishing equipment. We therefore have an extensive array of high-end printing and finishing equipment in our showroom.
The role will be ensuring the showroom is always in a ready to demonstrate condition, which includes printer operation and maintenance, colour profile updating, print production for in house marketing materials and campaigns, as well as helping with media and device testing and evaluation.
This is a position with lots of variety and scope for growth, ideal for someone looking to progress to our technical engineering team in the future, who carry out installations, training and support for our customers.
You must have an enquiring mind and self-driven can-do attitude, that can work well on their own, as well as with our team and customers alike.
Responsibilities
* Ensure showroom is ready to demonstrate at all times, including printer operation and maintenance, colour profile updating, and print production for in-house marketing materials and campaigns.
* Assist with media and device testing and evaluation.
* Support potential growth into the technical engineering team, including installations, training and customer support.
Skills and Qualifications
* An eye for design, detail and a commitment to quality.
* IT and networking skills.
* A desire to work with the latest printing technologies.
* Outing personality that can interact with visiting customers.
* A knack for problem-solving and technical know-how.
* Adobe design applications experience with Illustrator / Photoshop an advantage but not essential.
* Ability to work well both independently and with a team.
