Job Overview
We are looking for an ICT Application Support Specialist to provide critical application support across the group. The role is home‑based (Northwest) with occasional office visits.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of incidents and requests, ensuring timely resolution
* Contribute to daily stand‑ups and team activities
* Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, focusing on root cause analysis
* Ensure all work is delivered in line with best practice, standards, and compliance
* Maintain accurate records and audit trails
Qualifications
To be successful you will have experience in:
* Providing technical support for critical applications within a complex environment
* Documenting and quickly learning new systems and applications
* Identifying opportunities for functional improvements and implementing changes
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring robust audit trails
Ideally, you will:
* Have a solid understanding of the ITIL Service Management Framework
* Be a collaborative team player who works effectively with others
* Possess excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
Remuneration & Benefits
Salary: £40,000 – £42,500 for a 35‑hour week. Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing with time served. Flexible homeworking culture.
