Job Title: Wood Machinist

Salary: £13.60 – £15.60 per hour (DOE) + 5% Monthly Bonus
Terms: Permanent or Temp-to-Perm | Full-Time (40 Hours)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Wood Machinist to join a busy, professional production team in Bradford. This is a pure machining role, perfect for someone who enjoys the technical side of the workshop and is looking for a position with high earning potential through consistent overtime.
The Role
Working in a fast-paced workshop environment, you will be responsible for operating a variety of woodworking machinery to high standards.
Your daily toolkit will include:
* Surface Planers & Thicknessers
* Tenoners & Morticers
* Borers & Drum Sanders
* Edge Banders
* Spindle Moulders (For experienced candidates only)
* CNC experience is a bonus, but not essential.

We need someone who is "workshop ready." While we are happy to support your development, you must have enough hands-on experience to hit the ground running.
* Experience: Proven background using the machinery listed above.
* Attitude: A genuine desire to work, a willingness to learn new techniques, and a "can-do" approach.
* Reliability: Excellent timekeeping is essential for this team.
* Background: This role is also suitable for traditionally trained Bench Joiners who have transitioned into heavy machine use.
Note: We are looking for candidates with practical, commercial machinist experience. If you have the machine skills but lack the "bench" assembly interest, this is the perfect specialist role for you.
