TP Tutors are looking for highly experienced teachers with QTS to deliver fun and creative 1:1 session to children with SEN. The pay rate for this role is £25-£30 per hour. To become a Tutor with TP Tutors you will need: QTS; At least 10 hours of daytime availability, Monday to Friday; (ideally more due to demand); At least 5 years' experience teaching and assessing English and/or Maths and/or Science in primary and/or secondary schools; 100% passion for education, commitment, reliability and honesty; To creatively apply differentiated techniques to planning and teaching; An excellent knowledge of different learning styles and how to use these; The ability to deal with possible behaviour issues; The ability to work flexibly and attend meetings outside hours if necessary; To be a team-worker; A valid child only enhanced DBS check on the update service; You will need to: Plan and prepare lessons in accordance with students’ individual needs; Assess and monitor students’ work and feedback to parents and other professionals/ individuals Record students' progress and provide grades and written feedback; Deliver tailored teaching activities to students on a one-to-one basis; Support and assess the social and emotional development of students, reporting any issues as necessary; All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
