Responsibilities
* Duties include investigating environmental crime such as fly-tipping, abandoned vehicles and other anti-social behavioural issues; gathering evidence, interviewing people, responding to customer concerns and taking appropriate action to achieve the desired outcome.
* Communicate effectively with members of the public and manage potentially confrontational situations.
* Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and contribute to a safe, clean environment for the community.
Qualifications
* Full, valid driving licence
* GCSE level at grade C or above or NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths
* Computer literate
* Commitment to customer care and ability to deal with the public diplomatically in difficult situations
Requirements and Skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, approachable attitude
* Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Fluency in written and verbal communication; ability to follow instructions

* Salary up to £38,518.48 per annum
