About the Role
To be employed in this role you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with a wide variety of shift patterns. If you are looking for flexible working to fit around your lifestyle, this role offers such flexibility but requires weekend working. You will support the in‑store pharmacy by assembling and processing prescriptions accurately, promoting additional pharmacy services, supporting the pharmacist with patient services such as blood pressure checks and stop‑smoking schemes, and maintaining strict adherence to standard operating procedures. You will also collect prescriptions from doctors’ surgeries on behalf of customers and present them for collection.
About You
You are naturally friendly, highly organised, and eager to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service. You possess good computer skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You enjoy problem solving and are passionate about helping people and providing a great healthcare experience.

Training & Career Progression
You will complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within six months, then progress to train as a Dispensing Assistant as part of your pharmacy training.
