Staff Nurse - Children's Emergency Department
Job Overview
We are currently looking for Qualified Children's Nurses ideally with experience of working with children in a acute setting who would like to become part of the CED team.
We would also welcome applications from adult nurses ideally with ED experience who we could offer a fixed term contract.
Main Duties of the Job
There is a full resuscitation room, minors/majors cubicles and a four bedded observation unit. We were the first children's ED in the country to have a dedicated sensory cubicle for children with additional needs.
This is your opportunity to work within the children's emergency nursing team and continue to develop your career. You will be working in a bright purpose built children's hospital with support from the children's nursing team and paediatric consultants.
Person Specification
* Registered Nurse - Child Branch or Adult with Paediatric Experience.
* Experience working with children in Acute setting
* Recent course relating to Acutely unwell / injured CYP.
* APLS
