The Role (For more information see Role Description)
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Community & Partnerships Lead who will lead the engagement, communications, and partnership activity for the Live Well Shropshire service, working closely with the Service Operational & Development Lead, to ensure county-wide coverage.
This role will drive engagement across both strategic and grassroots stakeholders, strengthening relationships and identifying new opportunities for service development, communications, and partnership working, so that residents, partners and organisations are aware of the service, understand how to access it, and have clear opportunities to collaborate.
The role is accountable for engagement planning and reporting, supporting visibility, appropriate referrals and equitable reach across Shropshire, including priority groups and underserved communities.
The brand-new service you will be part of focuses on improving wellbeing, independence and quality of life for adults across Shropshire. It aims to reduce loneliness, build confidence and daily living skills, and support people to connect with community assets through person‑centred, strengths‑based 1‑to‑1 and group support.
This role needs you to have the ability to travel independently across Shropshire area and so you will need to be able to drive and own a car as the role involves work in various community settings. You will also be required to travel to the Shropshire offices from time to time for training and team meetings.
The role will be expected to support evening and weekend events/activities, with advanced planning and notice.
An enhanced DBS is required for the role which the company will pay for.
