We’re currently recruiting a Service Manager - Engineering to join our long-established maintenance team to be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Facilities Management service for Engineering & Security, to ensure all works are carried out safely in line with all regulatory requirements.
You will form part of a Service Manager team who are responsible for managing a team of Trade Operatives, Trade Supervisors, and sub-contractors to deliver planned maintenance & repairs across the Stockport Borough. The role will ensure all works are delivered to a high standard in accordance with company and group objectives, reporting on a regular basis to provide assurance to the senior management team.
With experience in a similar role, you’ll have experience of successfully managing an operational team in fire & security planned maintenance and repairs. Ideally you will hold a current SMSTS qualification and have good IT skills and abilities, particularly in Microsoft Office.
Please note a Valid UK Driving Licence is essential to the role. The role is also subject to satisfactory basic clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), and a non-frontline SIA licence will be required for the role.
