We are seeking a Tesco Colleague to join our team at the Dunmow Superstore. As a Customer Service Desk colleague, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, serving customers with passion and pride, and ensuring that our customers have a great shopping experience.
Availability Window: You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including Sundays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour, increasing to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

As a Tesco Colleague, you will be responsible for:
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store
* Putting into practice the training you have received to work safely and effectively
* Dealing with customer complaints and feedback in a professional manner
* Accurately recording customer details and treating this information confidentially
* Carrying out safe and legal checks on the desk and reporting any next steps to the Shift Leader/Team Manager
* Recording and disposing of waste in a responsible manner
* Accurately recording and processing returned items from customers
* Signing in visitors and ensuring they are aware of health, safety, and fire procedures
* Controlling keys stored at the desk correctly
* Liaising with Shift Leaders, Managers, and Security, communicating clearly
* Taking part in seasonal, community, and charity events
* Working across the store in service, picking, and replenishment areas where required
* Handling products with care to maintain quality
* Being yourself, living our values, and making everyone feel welcome
