Responsibilities:
Financial analysis and investigations of business unit financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cashflows and variances
Performance based reporting including P&L's, balance sheets and cost controls with a focus maximising profits
Go beyond numbers and provide commentary and interpretation, presenting advice and exploiting opportunities to aid business decisions
Financial governance and control initiatives, driving process improvement and ensuring risks are mitigated
Reviewing general ledgers, period close and reporting
Requirements:
Qualified Accountant, either recently or with post qualified experience in ACCA, ACA / ICAEW, CIMA or equivalent
A technically strong background along with a commercial, forward-thinking attitude
Competent IT skills including Excel and accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc)
Highly organised with ability to develop and maintain business working relationships
