Job Summary
Part‑time Administrator – Kirklees NHS Talking Therapies (Kirklees NHS Trust). Work from Folly Hall Mills, Huddersfield (HD1 3LT), or from home on a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the clinical team, including receiving, registering and tracking referrals.
* Maintain appointment booking systems (Microsoft Teams, telephone and face‑to‑face clinics) and arrange meetings.
* Assist with record‑keeping, data entry and update electronic and paper diaries.
* Act as a point of contact for service users, staff and external stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality and a positive experience.
* Work independently, prioritise tasks, and seek guidance from the Administrative Supervisor when required.
* Support the smooth operation of the service by adhering to Trust policies, procedures and standards.
Experience
* Recent secretarial or administrative experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
* Experience in note‑taking, copy‑typing and managing electronic diaries.
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment with competing demands.
* Demonstrated confidentiality and customer‑care skills.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or evidence of Level 3 competency.
* Willingness to undertake further study and development.
Training & Development
* Willingness to complete all mandatory Trust training and subsequent refresher courses.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.

* Good verbal and written communication skills.
