Overview
The AA is hiring a Roadside Rescue Mechanic for Bournemouth, United Kingdom. You’ll go the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen while you’re driving, but we are the AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can go on. In return, we’ll go the extra mile for you, with training, support and opportunities for development.
Responsibilities
* A communicator: You are our master of diagnostics and essential for delighting customers. You’re comfortable sharing knowledge in a way your customers understand and feel safe that their needs will be taken care of.
* A self-starter: You will be content working independently, as well as collaborating as part of a team, driving to different locations in all weathers.
* A fixer/problem solver: You will use your technical expertise to solve a variety of issues, whether fixing the vehicle roadside or recovering it to a garage — enabling the customer to get back on their day.
Qualifications
* NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
* Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less
* Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
Compensation
Base salary: £37,152. Top performers can earn upwards of £60,000 OTE. The base salary is achieved on a 40-hour working week.
