The Role
Exam Invigilators at Uxbridge High School play a key role in ensuring the fair and proper conduct of both public and internal examinations. Reporting to the Examinations Officer, you will help maintain exam integrity by preparing rooms, supervising students, and adhering to JCQ and school regulations. Responsibilities include managing exam papers, recording attendance, monitoring students throughout exams, and handling queries in line with exam rules.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. You should be confident working independently or as part of a team, able to engage effectively with young people, and comfortable addressing groups of students. A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusion is essential. Previous experience in a school setting and familiarity with the UK exam system are desirable but not essential. We would welcome applications from exceptional people who can make an integral contribution to Uxbridge High School.
