About the Graduate / Teaching Assistant Position:
Prospero Teaching are seeking enthusiastic graduates who are keen to gain valuable classroom experience before beginning teacher training. These are long-term placements with immediate starts available.
We are recruiting graduates to work as Teaching Assistants across Primary, Secondary and SEN schools in the Southampton and surrounding Hampshire areas, including:
1. Southampton
2. Eastleigh
3. Totton
4. Romsey
5. Chandlers Ford
6. Hedge End
7. Shirley
8. Portswood
9. Bitterne
10. Woolston
11. Millbrook
12. And surrounding areas
This is the perfect opportunity for recent graduates looking to build classroom experience ahead of teacher training.
No prior experience is required; however, any experience working with children or young people including in a classroom setting will be highly beneficial.
You Will Be:
13. Working 1-5 days per week, term-time only
14. Supporting students with a range of SEND needs
15. Working across Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4

About the Successful Graduate / Teaching Assistant:
24. No experience required full training provided
25. Holds a recent degree (ideally 2:2 or above)
26. Passionate about education with a proactive, can-do attitude
27. A positive role model for young people
28. Innovative, engaging and adaptable in their approach to learning
