About the Role:
* Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially Key Stage 5.
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
* Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources.
* Lead and direct school ensembles (e.g., choir, orchestra, band).
* Organize and participate in school concerts and performances.
* Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the department's curriculum development.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues.
* Participate in professional development opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS or equivalent.
* Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Music.
* Demonstrates a passion for teaching Music.
* Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
