Main duties of the job
Role Summary
As a Salaried GP, you will:
* Provide comprehensive care to our diverse patient population
* Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, and manage clinical correspondence
* Prescribe safely in accordance with our practice formulary
* Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records
* Support and mentor medical students as part of their clinical experience
You will work collaboratively with the wider team and make professional, autonomous decisions in patient care.

Terms
* Hours: 4 sessions/week Thursdays & Fridays
* Contract: 12 month with option for permanent position thereafter
* Employer: Danescourt & Greenmount Surgery (not Cardiff & Vale UHB)
* Note: We cannot sponsor visas; applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK

* Fully GMC registered with licence to practise
* Inclusion on the Cardiff & Vale UHB GP Performers List
* Membership of medical indemnity cover organisation
* Inclusion on GP Register
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to high-quality patient care and professional development
* A Full UK Driving Licence
* MRCGP qualification or equivalent
* Experience with EMIS Web or other primary care IT systems
* Interest in clinical audit, service improvement or long-term condition management
Experience
