I'm currently working with a growing organisation that is looking for a Payroll Officer on an interim basis, paying up to £16 an hour. They are looking to add to their team, with an office based in Bournemouth.
Your new role
You will report directly to the Payroll Manager and be responsible for various payroll duties.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Processing volumes of end-to-end payroll
2. Keeping all records up to date, communicating effectively to resolve queries, and providing excellent service to employees
3. Supporting team specialists by prioritising and organising workloads to ensure payroll excellence
4. Performing administrative duties
What you'll need to succeed
You should have at least 1 year of experience in payroll, with the ability to start contributing immediately. Strong attention to detail, speed, accuracy, good communication skills, and a strong desire to succeed are essential. Ideally, you will have intermediate Excel skills and a good understanding of payroll legislation and tax regulations.
