About the Job you are considering:
We are looking for an experienced a Java Developer to build, enhance, and maintain high-performing, scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java technologies, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
* Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications
* Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
* Analyze business and user requirements to deliver effective technical solutions
* Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services
* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues; enhance existing systems
* Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams
* Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
* Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness
* Design and optimize database queries and schemas
Your Skills:
* Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8 or later)
* Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
* Hands-on experience with the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
* Proven experience in RESTful API development and integration
* Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
* Experience with Hibernate/JPA for ORM
* Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
* Proficiency in Git or other version control systems
* Experience working with build tools like Maven or Gradle
