and main responsibilities
1. The management of the babies in the NICU, SCBU & in the Post-natal Wards with support and doctors of registrar and consultant
2. Be part of ward rounds in the Neonatal Unit and the Post-natal Wards and performing relevant practical procedures (peripheral venous cannulation, lumbar puncture, cranial ultra sound scans, etc). There is also a daily Consultant Ward Round.
3. Chance to perform procedures such as umbilical lines, long lines and endotracheal intubation under supervision
4. Participate in Multicenter Trials
5. Attend Perinatal Morbidity/Mortality Psychosocial Meetings and Network teaching
