About Second Step
Second Step is a leading mental health charity that has been prioritizing mental health for people in the South West for over 30 years. We believe that with the right support, everyone can take control of their lives and shape their futures. Our work focuses on supporting individuals experiencing complex needs related to multiple and severe disadvantages, including psychological distress, homelessness, substance misuse, and contact with the criminal justice system.
About Step Together
Step Together is an innovative service providing a psychological, adversity, and trauma (PAT) informed approach to individuals who are rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness and have multiple, complex needs such as mental health issues, forensic history, and substance use. We advocate for systemic change and collaborate creatively with other agencies to develop innovative solutions that turn barriers into opportunities for positive, trauma-informed system change.
