We are excited to announce a newly created role for a Deputy Nursery Manager & SENCO to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and lead an inclusive, nurturing environment for children aged 2–4, supporting their learning and development, and assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery.
As Deputy Nursery Manager & SENCO, you will:
* Deputise for the Nursery Manager, ensuring the nursery operates efficiently and safely, in line with policies and procedures.
* Lead on support for children with additional needs, developing and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and providing guidance to staff.
* Mentor and coach colleagues, promoting a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
* Build warm, trusting relationships with families, supporting children's learning and development through inclusive practice.
About You
We are looking for a committed early years professional who brings:
* A recognised Childcare / Early Years qualification at a Level 3 minimum or equivalent
* At least three years' post-qualification experience within an early years setting, with leadership experience desirable.
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Strong organisational, people and communication skills.
