About the Role and You
Contract type: Part Time, minimum of 25 hours a week, Term Time
Salary: Competitive salary
Start date: Immediate start available
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals for students and staff;
* Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety are maintained at all times;
* Supporting the catering team in keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy and safe;
* Assisting with washing up, cleaning, and general kitchen duties;
* Helping with stock rotation and basic food storage;
* Working as part of a team to deliver excellent service during breakfast, lunch, and school events.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working in a catering or food service environment (desirable, but not essential);
* Can demonstrate good standards of hygiene and food safety;
* Works well as part of a team and shows initiative;
* Is reliable, flexible, and has a positive attitude;
* Has the ability to engage with children and staff in a friendly and professional manner;
* Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding in a school environment.
