Year 3 Teaching Assistant - Camden (Long-Term Role)
Academics are currently supporting a welcoming primary school in Camden that is seeking an experienced Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis starting March 2026.

Role Details
* Location: Primary School in Camden
* Start Date: March 2026
* Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Long-term)
* Pay: £95 - £97 per day (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities
* Supporting the class teacher in a Year 3 classroom to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
* Assisting with adapting learning activities and classroom resources to support all pupils.
* Providing 1:1 support and small group interventions where required.
* Supporting pupils to develop key academic, social, and behavioural skills.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and active participation in learning.
* Supporting children with a range of learning needs, including SEND.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
* Have previous experience working with children in a UK primary school or educational setting (references required).
* Have strong communication skills and the ability to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
* Demonstrate good behaviour management skills, particularly within Key Stage 2.
* Have a good level of literacy and numeracy.
* Be familiar with the UK National Curriculum.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one through us.
