Responsibilities
* Safely operate RS truck & trailer parts Ltd vehicles, including delivery vans, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
* Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely arrival at destinations
* Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients
* Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly
* Assist in warehouse tasks such as organising stock, preparing goods for dispatch, and managing inventory
* Uphold high standards of customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries
Skills
* Proven delivery driver experience with a solid understanding of commercial driving regulations
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
* Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients
* Strong organisational skills for route planning and time management
* Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks over extended periods of driving and manual handling
