Our team works to ensure young people across Scotland have the support they need to enter and progress in employment.\n\nIn this role, you will assist the grant manager in overseeing around 20 contracts worth over £12 million, gaining hands-on experience in grant management and finance processes. Your contribution will help ensure funding is delivered effectively to support young people\u00A0to progress from education to positive destinations including work.\n\n Responsibilities\n\nCoordinate the handling of 2 shared mail boxes for general correspondence, stakeholder quarterly financial claims and monthly reporting, liaising with colleagues as appropriate to action queries/requests.\n\nProcessing of quarterly financial claims via Oracle Cloud.\u00A0 Updating of Team budget breakdown spreadsheet with financial transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.\u00A0 \n\nCompletion of the Monthly Cash Management Commission received from finance colleagues.\n\nCoordination of information, including maintaining accuracy of Unit Staff Directory details, recording of stakeholders KPI case studies, recording of issued grant letters, claim payments and monthly finance spending forecast reports.\u00A0 Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines are achieved.\n\nReply to event invitations by preparing diary responses for Ministers via Micase, researching background information about events and preparing a PS Minute with collated information to allow the Minister to make informed decisions about attendance. \n\nTake notes of meetings and file then in eRDM for record.\n\nCarry out research for information request such as case specific case studies for senior management.\n\nOrganise and participate in weekly team meetings to share information about weekly duties and updates and other ad hoc duties as required to assist the team.
