The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced AV Commissioning Engineer based in the South of England who has experience in commissioning, designing, and delivering bespoke AV systems.
You will be involved in all aspects of integrating AV systems into client environments, covering both hardware and software solutions, carrying out on‑site commissioning and configuration, liaising with clients, and supporting technical project delivery from concept through to completion.
Responsibilities
* Supervising system pre‑build works at client and company premises
* Carrying out testing and configuration of systems prior to acceptance testing
* Preparing acceptance testing documentation for client and consultant sign‑off
* Assisting with second‑fix AV system installation by supplying design drawings and cable schedules
* Providing project details and equipment specifications to in‑house and third‑party control programmers
* Assisting with control system programming support and troubleshooting
* Setting up, testing, and commissioning systems on‑site to the highest standards
* Producing and updating as‑built documentation for DSPs, Matrix systems and configurations
* Supporting Project Managers with technical delivery, documentation and third‑party coordination
* Providing technical support and advice to clients and internal teams
* Supporting ongoing maintenance, repairs and modifications after project completion
* Providing technical guidance to Sales, Installation and Project Management teams
The Person
We are looking for someone with strong professional AV engineering knowledge who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering high‑quality technical solutions.

Experience Required
* In‑depth professional AV engineering knowledge
* Experience commissioning and fault‑finding complex AV systems
* Previous control system programming experience advantageous
* Excellent communication and client‑facing skillsStrong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
* Ability to work calmly under pressure
* Full clean driving licence
