Homes for Students is the UK's leading independent provider of Student Accommodation. Purpose We are seeking a talented Paid Media Executive to join our successful team. You will work alongside the team to create and execute a robust paid media strategy to increase our online visibility and maintain relevant, high-quality traffic. As a paid media executive, you will be responsible for updating and driving PPC and paid social campaigns, using multiple methods to reach our potential student customer base. With the support of the sales and marketing team, you will create new campaigns, manage their day-to-day performance, analyse results, identify new opportunities, and seek to improve campaign performance. Accountabilities/Responsibilities Manage and maintain all paid online activity, carefully evaluating and updating our campaign content to drive quality traffic. Identify trends, changes in performance, and suggest improvements. Day-to-day accountability for paid search and paid social budget and performance, working with other departments to drive keywords. Provide in-depth monthly reporting with the ability to turn data into valuable, actionable insight to improve our overall marketing strategy. Work with the Paid Media and Web teams on specific campaigns to improve ad rankings, financial performance, and test new ideas. Work with the team to improve copy text, headlines, descriptions, and imagery. Drive leads/sales through continued campaign optimisation. Maintain a commercial awareness and understanding of the marketplace. Ensure deadlines are met, and budgets are managed effectively. Research and monitor competitor social media activity, alongside our student property accounts, to ensure we deliver current and engaging material. Keep abreast of current trends in the student accommodation market and relevant competitors with a view to improving campaign performance. Maximise profitability across the student portfolio by developing strategies to meet target KPIs. Support the sales and marketing department with tailored campaigns. The above outlines the main duties and responsibilities of the position; however, other ad hoc duties may be requested from time to time. Skills Must have strong written English skills for quality content writing Proven track record in the digital/online marketing area Experience managing social media and PPC campaigns Experience with Meta Business Suite and Google Ads Experience working with high-value budget allocations Experience using analytical tools (Google Analytics or equivalent) Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite, inc.Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to work with minimum supervision to meet goals and achieve targets on time Flexible and cooperative approach to working with colleagues in all areas of the business Ability to work as part of a close team Excellent organisational skills Personal Qualities Must be performance-driven Must have attention to detail Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum guidance; confidence in taking the initiative and making decisions Delivering high standards Commitment to equal opportunities Flexible and adaptive to changes in strategy or plans Demonstrate a positive ‘can-do’ attitude Ability to integrate quickly into the business and add value Security It will be necessary to undergo enhanced DBS clearance before your employment with us can commence. Experience and Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related subject Minimum 1 year of digital marketing experience, with the ability to show results of tenure Extensive experience using Google Ads and Meta Business Suite Experience working effectively with large budgets Experience using Google Analytics or equivalent Advanced understanding of social media Excellent communication and reporting skills Desirable Experience in the student or hotel sector marketing Project planning experience At Homes for Students, we embrace diversity and equal opportunities.
