Join to apply for the One Stop - Customer Service Assistant role at One Stop Stores Ltd. We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment where no day is the same.
You will play an important role in the day-to-day operations by providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments and helping maintain the store’s appearance.
As the customer is at the heart of everything we do, you will be continuously looking for ways to improve service through on-the-job coaching and feedback. With your guidance, the store will remain a safe place to work and shop.
Responsibilities
* Know and serve customers with passion and pride, delivering natural service.
* Encourage customers to provide feedback via the “have your say” survey.
* Work across all areas of the store including online, tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines to meet customer needs.
* Apply training to ensure safe working practices.
* Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
* Understand store performance and the role you play in delivering profitability.
* Represent the company values, make everyone feel welcome and follow policies.
* Clock in/out at the start and end of shifts to ensure accurate pay.
* Follow security procedures and wear safety equipment where available to keep colleagues and customers safe.
* Follow the Think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products.
* Respond quickly to assistance calls on self-service checkouts and explain actions to customers.
* Maintain a clean, tidy and organized store with clear aisles.
* Be prepared to run the shift in the absence of the Shift Leader or Store Manager.
* Follow all training to keep yourself, others and the store safe and legal.
* If applicable, duties may include day-to-day Post Office Local operations and related background checks as required.
