About the Role
Are you ready to take charge of the Electrical Function at our vibrant Skegness resort? We’re looking for a passionate individual with an 18th Edition electrical qualification and a HVK license to ensure our guests experience the highest standards of service.
In this dynamic role, you will:
* Lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high engagement levels.
* Oversee routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of domestic, commercial, and electrical equipment.
* Manage project works with both your team and subcontractors.
* Plan and operate the rota system, including on-call duties, and be available for call-outs as needed.
* Utilize your expertise in fault finding and installation works.
This position requires flexibility, as you will work a 5-day week over 7 days, including occasional late shifts and at least one weekend day.
As a key member of the Resorts Management team, you will ensure compliance with all health and safety policies while managing both internal and external service providers.
Your leadership will extend to:
* Recruiting, developing, and supporting your team through regular one-on-ones and performance discussions.

About You
We’re searching for an experienced electrical leader who thrives in a fun-filled environment and is committed to putting guests first. You should have:
* Proven experience in leading teams and training staff to deliver excellence.
* The ability to prioritize a demanding workload and work independently.
* Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite.
* Confidence to direct and respond effectively in any situation.
* A knack for motivating and engaging your team, even during peak times.

General Duties & Key Accountabilities
* Manage the team during shifts, focusing on key tasks and objectives.
* Drive add-on sales and promotions while supporting your team.
* Ensure all stock and propositions are available for guests.
* Monitor the delivery of a quality guest experience in line with brand guidelines.
* Capture and respond to guest feedback effectively.
* Provide accurate rotas three weeks in advance and ensure system accuracy.
* Monitor NPS and take action based on guest feedback.
* Coach and develop your team to meet departmental goals.
* Champion Butlin’s values and leadership behaviors.
* Maintain strong relationships across the resort and with central support teams.
* Support the department through the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding and performance management.
