Are you a French Teacher who loves bringing language to life and helping students build confidence beyond the classroom? A friendly and forward-thinking secondary school in Wakefield is looking for a passionate MFL specialist to join their team from January.
This is a great opportunity to inspire students with engaging, practical French lessons that spark curiosity and build real-world communication skills. You’ll be joining a supportive department that values creativity, consistency and high-quality teaching.
The role
* Teach French across Key Stages, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
* Support students to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing
* Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with a welcoming and experienced MFL team
What we’re looking for
* Qualified Teacher of French (QTS or equivalent)
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages
* Positive classroom presence and clear behaviour management
* A genuine commitment to student progress and engagement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
