Nelson Permanent Placements are working with our client who are recruiting for an Industrial Electrician to cover the Midlands area. Our client specialises within hard engineering solutions and provides a full range of services in fast-moving, high-pressure manufacturing facilities, process environments and commercial spaces.

To be considered for this role as an Industrial electrician you will have:
* Experience in electrical installation and testing within a process plant environment
* Essential experience within the manufacturing and industrial sectors
* 2391 or 2394/5 qualification with strong understanding of condition reporting
* 17th Edition qualification
* NVQ Level 3 qualification
* Level 3 Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations
* Full UK driving licence
The key responsibilities of this role an Industrial Electrician:
* Carrying out electrical installations involving low-voltage wiring and containment systems
* Following safe electrical isolation procedures on existing live circuits
* Installing a range of low-voltage wiring systems and cable containment systems
* Producing installation and condition reports
* Testing and energising electrical systems up to 1000V, including new and modified installations
* Ensuring all operational procedures, safe working practices and health and safety requirements are followed
* Completing any reasonable tasks assigned in line with your role
The employment package for an industrial electrician is:

* £40600 (installation) - £44000 (approved rate)
