The Role
This Structural Engineer role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of structural design across a range of projects while developing your technical expertise and autonomy.
* Lead the day-to-day technical delivery of structural engineering projects
* Act as project lead, design manager, or discipline lead as required
* Prepare and oversee the production of calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports
* Review engineering designs produced by others to ensure high technical quality
* Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and fellow consultants throughout design and construction stages
* Attend design meetings, site inspections, and construction progress reviews
* Monitor project programmes, budgets, and identify risks and resourcing needs
* Support and mentor junior engineers through knowledge sharing and collaboration
* Ensure work complies with relevant codes, sustainability goals, and statutory requirements
