This pivotal role within the finance team includes managing the day to day accounting and reporting requirements of the business whilst looking to improve and develop existing processes. Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with: Assisting with the month end process, including delivery of reporting packs to local Exec, all commentary and reporting to Group, revenue reporting into local Exec, and ad hoc follow up Managing audit, statutory, tax and technical matters, including relationship management with professional advisers on all deliverables Ownership of monthly balance sheet reconciliation process and review for quality and accuracy Development of Treasury process including forecasting and controls Lead Market Data recharging across the Group Helping the business understand how much revenue it generates in the UK, from what sources and ensuring it is aligned with current accounting standards Project work to discover and deliver continuous improvements in the department Team management Opportunity to travel What you will bring: We are seeking a qualified Accountant with a track record of working for a global organisation. Strong organisational skills and self-management High attention to detail with the ability to synthesize information and spot trends or discrepancies A creative, lateral thinker with sound problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confidence to challenge the status quo and contribute to process improvements Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and accounting platforms, as well as a good knowledge of IFRS 15.
