About the company
Our client is a leading supplier of automotive point of sale items for the used car market. With over 35 years of experience, they offer a range of stock products, bespoke manufacturing, and in-house creative design services for customized products. They serve motor manufacturers, dealership groups, franchised and independent dealers, and finance companies.
About the role
As an Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
* Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
* Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products
* Initiating sales via phone and email from the existing customer database
* Following up with emails and calls to maintain relationships
* Handling complaints or objections professionally
* Entering customer orders accurately into the system
* Gathering all necessary information for order processing, such as purchase orders, invoice and delivery addresses
* Performing ad-hoc tasks as required
About you
To succeed as an Account Manager, it is desirable to have experience in account management, sales, or customer service, and a desire to develop further in this diverse role. You should also possess:
* Customer focus and a genuine desire to satisfy customers
* Keen to learn and develop
* IT literacy, especially Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* A positive and friendly attitude
* Effective communication skills with colleagues and customers

Our client offers a long-term career opportunity and an integral role within the company. The working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3pm on Fridays. The position offers a competitive salary of £11 to £13 per hour (approximately £23,000 to £27,000 annually) along with benefits.
