Job Overview
The family are looking for a nanny to care for their delightful 6‑year‑old daughter, working Monday to Friday, 2pm–7pm (3 days) 3pm–7pm (2 days) during term time and 7.30am–7pm throughout the school holidays.
They would love to find someone energetic, active and creative, who genuinely enjoys being outdoors, planning adventures and making each day fun and engaging.
The role will include helping with homework, all nursery duties, and preparing healthy, home‑cooked meals for their daughter. She is a fantastic eater, so confidence in the kitchen and a love of cooking are important.
This is a down‑to‑earth and caring family looking for someone proactive, organised and reliable, but above all someone with a great sense of humour who will become a valued part of family life.
Responsibilities
* Help with homework and support academic development.
* Carry out all nursery duties including supervision and activities.
* Prepare healthy, home‑cooked meals and snacks.
* Plan outdoor activities and adventures to keep the child engaged.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum of 4 years experience caring for young children.
* Childcare qualifications.
* 1st Aid certification.
* Up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
* 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
* Minimum of 2 professional referees, one current or recent employer, both immediately contactable.
Work Hours & Details
* Hours of work – 2pm – 7pm term time, 3 days a week; 3pm – 7pm term time, 2 days a week; 7.30am – 7pm school holidays.
* Days required – Monday – Friday.
* Location – Esher, Surrey.
* Pets in the home – dog.
* Driving required – yes (car provided).
* Job start date – July 2026.
* Pay – £20 gross per hour, depending on experience.
* Employment type – permanent.
