We are partnering with a well-known and recognised Food business, that has been supplying to the UK's major supermarket's for over 45 years.
As the Buyer or Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing and negotiation on the range of Food finished goods and Ingredients. Our client's supply base is truly global, with suppliers in 16 countries, across the Far East, North Africa and South America.
You will play a leading role in establishing excellent relationships with the niche supply base, coordinate robust and efficient supply chains and develop procurement strategies that align with the wider business and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
* Supplier Management: Select and manage suppliers through identification, evaluation, quality control, and risk assessment, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
* Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement global procurement strategies, optimising cost through negotiation of contracts, terms, and pricing.
* Utilise skills to negotiate best prices / payment terms / deals from suppliers
