Position Summary
The Regional Materials Manager will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels are always maintained across multiple locations to support branch operations. Leading a team of buyer/planners, analysing demand across a diverse range of customers, safeguarding a smooth and efficient supply chain in the region. This role will initially oversee our UK South branches (Woodgate Valley, Burton and Aylesbury), with a plan to expand responsibility to our Central Europe branches (Chomutov, Katowice and Budapest)
This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the European Operations Director with a dotted line to the Integrated Supply Chain Manager for Europe and Asia.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the Materials teams to ensure the appropriate resource and experience is dedicated to each customer account.
2. Maintain a cost base in line with Operational margin objectives.
3. Ensure DRP forecasts and/or customer schedules are analysed and actioned in a timely manner.
4. Ensure planning team continue to maintain data integrity within the ERP system.
