1. Position: Customer Service Representative
2. Salary: £28,000 to £32,000
3. Location: Polegate
4. Hours: 42.5 hours a week working 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch. Occasional Saturday mornings and Bank Holidays.

We are looking for a customer focused person, who loves interacting with customers in person and over the phone, to join a small and busy team. This role is in a trade office setting so you’ll be interacting with colleagues and customers both in the yard / in person at the office counter and over the phone 90% of the day.
The Customer Service Representative will:
6. Handle customer queries on the phone, in person and over email
7. Take and progress bookings for industrial / plant equipment
8. Maintain accurate and up to date records both paper and CRM based
9. Take and process payments
10. Manage complaints and work with drivers to resolve issues
11. Process licence applications and complete all related paperwork and administration
12. Cover the weighbridge as needed
Skills & experience required:
13. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication
14. Able to provide the best level of customer service and to remain calm when dealing with customer complaints
15. Previous customer service experience
16. Ideally have own transport due to location of the site office
