Martin Robinson Carpentry Ltd (MRC Ltd) is a specialist Carpentry & Joinery contractor delivering high-quality work across residential and commercial developments. We're ambitious, growing fast, and now looking for a Business Development Manager with a hunter mentality to help us secure new clients, projects, and opportunities.
This is a brand-new role, open to candidates with different levels of experience, either full-time or part-time. What matters most is that you're driven, relentless, and thrive on winning work.
What You'll Do:
* Proactively hunt for new projects and clients that fit our business model.
* Generate opportunities through calls, messages, networking, and knocking on doors if needed.
* Secure meetings, pitch our services, and represent the company with confidence.
* Build strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers.
* Develop a pipeline of qualified leads and feed them through to the estimating team.
* Constantly be on the lookout for ways to grow the business and outpace competitors.
What We're Looking For:
* A natural sales hunter – persistent, resilient, and motivated by results.
* Experience in business development or sales (construction knowledge a bonus, but not essential).
* Confident communicator who isn't afraid to pick up the phone or chase down a lead.
* Self-starter with the energy and drive to make things happen.
* Competitive edge and the determination to exceed targets.
