Key responsibilities include:
Leading, developing, and inspiring the kitchen team
Collaborating with the Head of Food on menu development and direction
Creating and delivering seasonal, fire-led menus
Driving consistency, quality, and presentation standards
Managing GP, food cost, stock control, and labour budgets
Working closely with local growers and suppliers
Championing wood-fired and live-fire cooking techniques
Building a strong, positive, and disciplined kitchen culture
The Ideal Candidate
Experience in a quality-driven fresh food restaurant
Strong background in modern British, seasonal cooking
Confidence with wood-fired, grill, or live-fire cooking
Proven leadership and team development skills
Strong financial awareness (GP, labour, cost control)
Calm, organised, hands-on approach
Passion for seasonality, provenance, and simple excellence
